WHEW🥵 I haven’t read a MMC with a dirty mouth like this in apparently too long. I’m DEFINITELY in love with Knox (MMC). I’ll have to add him to my list of book boyfriends. Aside from his remarkable bedroom skills, his story was just as easy to fall in love with. Knox’s sad past made me feel for him so hard😭 I just wanted to hide him away and protect him from the world. But I also wanted him to get out there and find happiness again because he deserved it so much.

Harlow was easy to love too. She’s very happy-go-lucky and her energy is like a ray of sunshine. She’s got her own insecurities due to a past lover, but Knox was able to make her feel “worshipped” in the way that she deserved. These 2 were SO cute together, and the fake dating trope just made this whole relationship journey that much more angsty! I loved it.

Synopsis

Spencer Knox, aka Fort Knox, has a prickly relationship with the media. A potential sponsorship decides that he needs to open up more if he wants to earn their support. Considering his wall is more impenetrable than Fort Knox, this new fake-dating situation should be nothing but easy.

Harlow is new in the sports blogging industry and is looking to grow her audience. When Knox’s agent proposed that they should fake date for mutual benefits, what starts out as “doing it for the cameras” slowly turns into off-camera attraction. Will she be able to break the guard of “Fort Knox”? Or will he break her first?
